Raiders atop Horizon League Preseason Coaches Poll
Announced yesterday by the Horizon League was the coaches poll voted on by the league’s seven coaches.
In voting done where the coaches are asked to rank the other six teams excluding their own, Coach Cooper’s Wright State Raiders received all six possible first place votes from his peers. University of Illinois-Chicago received the other first place vote, topping the ballot submitted by Cooper.
Coach Rich Pasquale’s Youngstown State Penguins were picked fifth with the Vikings of Cleveland State following at sixth under Coach Kevin Kocks.
